Jake’s Is Filmmaker Central

Filmmakers and cinema lovers are making their way to Jake’s, A Lakeland Community, in advance of the upcoming Sheboygan Film Festival. It’s happening this weekend, and Jake’s, which is part of the Lakeland University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (LUCIE) is Filmmaker Central for the event.

The facility will serve as the Central Hub for filmmakers and the main box office for the festival’s inaugural run, starting tomorrow.

Events scheduled to take place at Jake’s include a screening presented by Healthy Sheboygan County’s Positive Mental Health Action Team, a panel with Action! Wisconsin on the new state production incentives, the Saturday night afterparty, and the Sunday morning award ceremony.
