Filmmakers and cinema lovers are making their way to Jake’s, A Lakeland Community, in advance of the upcoming Sheboygan Film Festival.

With more than 80 films planned across downtown venues, Sheboygan Film Festival attendees will experience four days packed with screenings, parties, filmmaker Q&As, and community events.

Bemis, a family-owned company with deep roots in Sheboygan County, has signed on as a sponsor of the festival’s inaugural event this October. 

Rick Grant is the owner of RGA Public Relations in Sheboygan. He has over 35 years of experience as a writer and editor.

Governor Evers and state legislators have approved the creation of a State Film Office and the introduction of new tax credits for film and television production. 

Paradigm Coffee & Music will host a Friday evening screening and social event during the festival’s inaugural run, taking place October 2–5, 2025. Festival guests will enjoy a curated block of films followed by a community party that will keep the energy going until midnight.

The committee met with Sheboygan-area businesses seeking to get involved in the city’s first annual film celebration in mid-July at the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce offices.

Ehren Fleschner is an award-winning Producer for Kernel, the in-house agency for Spectrum Reach. He is the former Membership Chair for Madison Media Professionals.

Aubrey Laux is a creator based in Sheboygan, WI. She loves horror movies, making weird art (her words), and finding humor in the everyday.

The opening night of the Sheboygan Film Festival will take place at the iconic Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts, a 1,150-seat venue in the heart of downtown Sheboygan.

Jon Gollner is a Wisconsin-born, Midwest-based filmmaker who strives to tell stories full of empathy, humor, and celebration of people and their passions. Jon has worked in the narrative, documentary, and advertising worlds since 2012. 

Cole J Sheldon is an independent filmmaker from Sheboygan, WI. Cole's most recent short film, Spark Plug, saw major success in film festivals across the Midwest - winning awards for writing, directing, cinematography, and best film.

A scholar-maker at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Dr. Zack Kruse is curious about how the politics and philosophies of the strange and unusual infiltrate our mundane lives. 

Beah is the Founder & Executive Director of Belladonna Film Project. She is the chair of the 2025 Sheboygan Film Festival planning committee.

We’re happy to announce that Sheboygan’s vibrant arts community is about to welcome an exciting new addition: the very first Sheboygan Film Festival (SFF).
