Sheboygan Gets a Film Festival!

We’re happy to announce that Sheboygan’s vibrant arts community is about to welcome an exciting new addition: the very first Sheboygan Film Festival (SFF). 

The date is set for October 2–5, 2025, for this four-day celebration of cinema, which will bring filmmakers, film lovers, and community members together for what we plan to make an annual tradition.

Organized by the Belladonna Film Project, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting independent film in the Midwest, the festival is the result of more than a year of planning. The work is now underway by a dedicated committee made up of local filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts.

Backed by a grant from the Kohler Foundation and support from area businesses and organizations, the festival is already gaining momentum. We plan to include feature films, documentaries, shorts, and programming for children, along with filmmaker conversations, panel discussions, and community events. We're accepting film submissions now.

Get ready for some excitement this fall!
